Deputy for the Democrat: The distribution of the three presidencies is a political custom, and change in them is possible

(Political: Al Furat News) Kurdistan Democratic Party representative, Mayada Al-Najjar, suggested that the positions of the three presidencies will change after the early parliamentary elections.
Al-Najjar told {Euphrates News}, "The situation with regard to the elections is murky and there is a possibility of a change in the distribution of the three presidencies, as they are a political custom, not a legal clause."
He added that "the distribution of the presidencies is an agreement between the political parties and it can change by changing the agreements according to the election data and the parliamentary seats because it is not a constitutional provision."
It is noteworthy that after 2003, the positions of the three presidencies (the Presidency of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the Presidency of the House of Representatives) were divided on a sectarian and national basis.
