{Political: Al Furat News} An Arab country invited the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein
A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of which {Al-Furat News} received a copy, stated, "Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein received today a copy of the credentials of the Mauritanian ambassador, Al-Hassan Muhammad Aliyat to Baghdad, and the minister wished the Ambassador Al-Muwaffaqiyah success in his diplomatic missions in Baghdad, expressing the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to present All support for the success of the mission of the diplomatic mission," referring to "the necessity of work and cooperation in the service of both countries."
For his part, the Mauritanian ambassador, El Hassan Mohamed Aliyat, affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between Baghdad and Nouakchott, directing an official invitation by the President of the Republic of Mauritania to the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, to visit Nouakchott, and another invitation by the Mauritanian Foreign Minister to Minister Fouad Hussein.
