The Independent High Electoral Commission confirmed today, Thursday, that it will look tomorrow at stations in which evidence was presented within the appeals appendix of Baghdad candidates.
The media of the Commission stated, in a statement, that "the counting and sorting of stations for which evidence was presented within the appeals appendix of the candidates of the governorates of Diyala, Babil, Karbala and Najaf has been completed, in the presence of representatives of the contesting candidates, international observers and authorized media personnel."
The statement added, "The result of auditing this evidence will be submitted to the Board of Commissioners to take the appropriate recommendation in light of the procedures followed."
And he continued, "Tomorrow, Friday, to look at stations regarding which evidence was presented within the appendix of the appeals of the Karkh and Rusafa candidates in Baghdad to resolve their appeals file in full, after completing the review and scrutiny of what the candidates submitted in the aforementioned appendix."
