    Today, Monday, the Ministry of Planning announced the changes in the prices of construction materials during the month of October, compared to the previous year 2020.
    The official spokesman for the Ministry of Planning, Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi, said in a statement received by the “National News Center”, that “the follow-up report on the prices of local and imported construction materials for the past month, which was prepared by the Central Bureau of Statistics after changing the exchange rate in November of last year through field follow-up to (64) A substance in the local markets in all governorates, except for the Kurdistan region, showed an increase in those prices at varying rates.
    And he indicated that “the average price of ordinary bricks for the month of October 2021 amounted to 173 thousand dinars per thousand bricks, recording an increase of 24% over the average price of November 2020 of 140 thousand dinars per thousand bricks, and the average price of Republican bricks for the month of October was The first is 2021 (188) thousand dinars per thousand bricks, recording an increase of 17% over the average price for the month of November 2020 of (161) thousand dinars per thousand bricks.
    And he continued, “As for the prices of ordinary cement for the month of October 2021, it is (103) thousand dinars per ton, recording a 14% increase from the average price of November 2020 of (90) thousand dinars per ton, and the average price of resistant cement for the month of October 2021 reached ( 119) thousand dinars per ton, recording an increase of (6%) over the average price of November 2020 of (112) thousand dinars per ton, and the average price of white cement for the month of October 2021 (207) thousand dinars per ton, recording an increase of (11%) over The average price for the month of November 2020 is (186).”
    Al-Hindawi added, “The average price of iron (blinds) of foreign origin for the month of October reached (1279) thousand dinars per ton, recording an increase of (64%) over the average price of November 2020 of (779) thousand dinars per ton. The price of iron (Shelman) for the month of October 2021 (21) thousand dinars per meter, recording an increase of (40%) over the average price for the month of November 2020 of (15) thousand dinars per meter, while the average price of thermostone blocks for the month of October 2021 reached (2098) A thousand dinars per thousand bricks, recording an increase of 13% over the average price for the month of November 2020, which amounted to (1852) thousand dinars per thousand bricks.
    The average price of technical plaster for the month of October 2021 was (100) thousand dinars per ton, recording an increase of (11%) over the average price for the month of November 2020 of (90) thousand dinars per ton.
