Planning indicates a slight discrepancy in the prices of construction materials between the months of December and the last two

Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Planning announced a "slight" difference in the prices of construction materials for the month of January, compared to December of 2021.
The Central Statistics Agency of the Ministry said in a report seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the price index of construction materials for the month of January decreased slightly compared to December of 2021 after 64 building materials were followed up and registered in the local markets," noting That "the most important indicators for the most widely used and influential materials in the market were for three materials, which included bricks, cement and iron."
The agency added that "the average price of ordinary bricks for the month of last January amounted to (157) thousand dinars per (1,000) bricks, recording a decrease of (2%) compared to the average price of the month of December 2021, which had reached (160) thousand dinars per (1000) bricks, while the price of the Republican bricks for the month of last January amounted to 191 thousand dinars for each (1,000) bricks, recording a decrease of (2%) compared to the average price for the month of December 2021, which amounted to 194 thousand dinars for each (1,000) bricks.
The report indicated that "the average price of ordinary cement for the month of last January amounted to (109) thousand dinars per ton, recording an increase of (1%) compared to the average price of the month of December 2021, which was at a price of (108) thousand dinars per ton, while the average price of cement reached (108) thousand dinars per ton. Resistant cement for the month of last January (120) thousand dinars per ton, recording a decrease of (2%) from the average price of December 2021, which was at a price of (123) thousand dinars per ton, while the price of white cement for the month of January reached (215) thousand Dinars per ton, recording a decrease of (2%) from the average price for the month of December 2021, in which the price reached (219) thousand dinars.
The agency explained in its report that "the prices of iron (blinds) of foreign origin for the month of last January amounted to (million and 263) thousand dinars per ton, recording a decrease of (1%) compared to the average price for the month of December 2021, which was at a price of (one million and 173 thousand dinars). per ton, while the average price of iron (Shelman) for the month of last January was (17) thousand dinars per meter, recording a decrease of 11% from the average price of December 2021, which amounted to (19) thousand dinars per meter.
The report pointed out that "the average price of thermiston bricks last January amounted to (million and 983) thousand dinars, recording an increase of (3%) over the month of December 2021, in which the average price amounted to (million and 977 thousand dinars).
