    The Ministry of Planning confirmed that the job number project will eliminate the phenomenon of alien employees in the country.
    And the {alien} employees are the ones who are registered in the payroll without practicing work or fictitious names, whose salaries are paid by some officials.
    Ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi said in a press statement: “A job number for each employee is like a {code - symbol}. The job number project, after generating about three million job numbers in all state institutions.”
    He pointed out that “the government started the project more than 5 years ago, but it was sluggish for many reasons,” noting that “Planning Minister Khaled Batal Al-Najm, chaired a ministerial committee, worked on laying the foundations, recommendations and work mechanisms for the job number platform,” explaining that “the purpose of the project is It lies in drawing a clearer picture of the number of employees in the public sector, with more detailed figures on their financial salaries.”
    He added, "This project contributes significantly to eliminating the phenomenon of (alien) employees who receive more than one salary.
    Al-Hindawi added, "The project was supposed to end in late 2021 and work will begin completely on all state institutions, but some technical and logistical issues and the failure to complete employee data in a number of ministries delayed the launch of the project."
    Al-Hindawi believes that, "when completed, this project will provide an integrated database on state employees, which will contribute to addressing many of the problems that the functional body suffers from, including drawing clear paths for financial spending on wages and salaries," noting that "the ministry has so far introduced more data. From two million nine hundred and fifty-five thousand employees in preparation for its launch after completing the data of all state employees.”
