    On Thursday, a member of the State of Law coalition, Zuhair Chalabi, revealed the existence of extraordinary foreign interventions in the Sunni arena, led by Tahnoun bin Zayed, to appoint Muhammad al-Halbousi as parliament speaker.
     
    Chalabi said in a televised statement, which was followed by "The Information", that "the political forces focus on resolving differences within the Shiite house, despite the existence of differences between the Sunni and Kurdish components, and that the Sunni parties wanted to unite their ranks during their trip to the Emirates."
     
    He added, "There are extraordinary foreign interventions in the Sunni arena led by Tahnoun bin Zayed, and Iraqi funds have been released to the UAE through the mediation of Al-Halbousi in exchange for the parliament's renewal for him."
     
    He pointed out that "there is great and abnormal support for Al-Halbousi, especially from America and the Gulf countries, led by the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and that the formation of governments in Iraq and the region has become with the approval of the regional countries, and this is something abnormal."
