A new Kurdish candidate for the position of second deputy speaker of parliament

{Political: Al Furat News} The Kurdistan Islamic Union nominated the head of its parliamentary bloc, Muthanna Amin, for the position of second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
The winning candidate for the union, Jamal Kougar, told {Euphrates News}: "We have nominated Amin for the position of the second deputy to the presidency of the House of Representatives."
He pointed out that "there is no Kurdish and Shiite agreement on the members of the Presidency of the House of Representatives."
The Kurdistan Democratic Party had nominated its member, Shakhwan Abdullah, for the position of second deputy speaker of parliament.
It is hoped that the session will witness the election of a speaker and two deputies to Parliament, in a first step towards the marathon of forming a new government in the country.
The inaugural session has been postponed until three o'clock in the afternoon to continue the meetings of the consultative blocs, as the political blocs hold individual meetings prior to the first session of Parliament.
