Earth News/ Several political variables witnessed in the first session of Parliament, including the emergence of a new bloc that was able to lead the session and renew the mandate of the Speaker of Parliament, indicating that he will be able to lead the next stage and pass the remaining presidencies smoothly without the participation of the coordination framework, according to political analysts, who indicated Also, the renewal of the mandate of the Prime Minister and the Republic is very possible, and is closer than before.

In an interview with "Earth News", political analyst Ali Al-Baydar said; “What happened in yesterday’s session during the election of the Presidency of Parliament, brings us to a new case of the inclusive political bloc represented by the Sadrist movement, Sunni forces and Kurdish forces.”

He added, "This bloc will be the best able to form the new Iraqi government, even without the participation of the coordinating framework forces, as happened in the parliament session yesterday, with members of the Presidency of the Parliament who passed by an absolute majority despite the framework's deputies boycotting the session."

And he indicated that "the new political bloc will create a new political decision-making in Iraq during the next stage, and this bloc, if it remains united and united, as happened in yesterday's session, is the one who will choose the rest of the presidencies and decide all positions in the cabinet and senior positions in the state."

It is noteworthy that the first session of Parliament, which was held on Sunday, witnessed many events, most notably the quarrel and chaos that occurred after the announcement of the same coordinating framework as the largest bloc, and that was the presence of Muhammad al-Mashhadani, chaired by the Council in his capacity as the head of the age.

During the uproar that took place by the opponents of the coordination framework, Al-Mashhadani tried to leave the council chamber, but was beaten, which required his transfer to the hospital. Here, the head of the reserve, Khaled Al-Daraji, led the shot, and the presidency, consisting of Muhammad Al-Halbousi, was elected as Speaker of Parliament, Hakim Al-Zamili and Shakhwan Abdullah as his two deputies.

Al-Halbousi obtained 200 votes out of 228 deputies who participated in the election, amid boycotting the coordination framework of the election process.

It is noteworthy that the session was held with a quorum of 325 deputies, and the coordination framework announced that it was the largest bloc with 88 deputies, meaning that the election session of Al-Halbousi took place in the absence of 97 deputies.

The dispute between the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement is one of the most prominent and deepest political differences, and no solution was reached until the session was held. to senior positions and management of the next stage.

It is customary in Iraq that the political forces share the highest positions in the country, based on the components. Often the Shiite blocs unite and choose the prime minister, while the Sunni blocs unite and choose the speaker of parliament, and the Kurdish blocs also unite to choose the president of the republic.
Al-Sadr, for his part, confirmed yesterday, after the election of the Presidency of the Parliament, that things are heading towards achieving the national majority that he had called for.

For his part, political analyst Ghaleb Al-Damamy stated in an interview with "Earth News", "The names nominated for the presidency and the ministers are the same, Mustafa Al-Kazemi and Barham Salih, and they are still strong competitors until now."

He pointed out that "the renewal of the mandate for Muhammad Al-Halbousi increases the chances of Saleh and Al-Kazemi's survival, and there is more than one line that supports Al-Kazemi, including Iran, so he is still the strongest candidate," noting, "But we do not forget that the variables are present in the last moments of the political process."

He pointed out that "Al-Kazemi's survival increases the speed of forming the government and approving the budget, and the renewal of his mandate will return Iraq to its international position, and the level of chaos control will be faster."

It is noteworthy that the coordinating framework consisting of Shiite blocs, some of which are linked to the resistance factions, had previously announced its refusal to renew the mandate of both Al-Halbousi and Al-Kazemi, and it has a sharp stance towards the two figures, and accusations are often directed against Al-Kazemi of being “hostile” to the resistance factions.
