Iraq imports 60% of the agricultural exports of Iran

According to reports issued by the Customs Department of Iran that Iraq comes at the top importer of Iranian agricultural crops. And that "has been exported 900 thousand tons of various types of agricultural crops to various countries around the world and specifically Iraq last spring." The report said that "Iraq is the first leg of agricultural crops Iranian Import the where about 560 thousand tons during the mentioned period, which is equivalent to 60 percent of the total crop exported to the Iranian side of dairy products." The report also pointed out that "the Iranian traders believe that the export of agricultural crops to neighboring countries, particularly Iraq, a character in light of the economic, cultural and religious denominators common that combine the two." Iraq is, according to government statistics of Iran's second-largest market for goods of Iran, where the volume of imported since the month of March 2013 to last March 2014 to more than 2.00085 million tons, worth 951 thousand dollars, accounting for more than 18% of the total value of Iranian goods exported.
