The Sadrists aspire to include 50 deputies from the coordinating framework in the Triple Alliance

Baghdad/ Firas Adnan
The tripartite alliance seeks to include fifty deputies from the coordination framework to form a national majority government, in which the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, does not participate.
And circles in the tripartite alliance assert that the choice of the majority is irreversible, and that the Sadrists blocked the way to return to consensus by putting the political forces in front of two options, either to form the government or go to the opposition.
But the coordinating framework, for its part, is looking for a new round of talks that will save it from the embarrassment that resulted from the election results and the loss of many seats. This comes after he announced the imminent formation of an alliance called “national stability,” and claimed that it would consist of 130 deputies, which would be able to disrupt the session. Election of the President of the Republic.
Kurdistan Democratic Party MP Majid Shankali said, "The tripartite alliance decided to proceed with the formation of a national majority government and there is no turning back from that, based on the vision of the Sadrist movement, which made a vow to itself that it would leave the consensus."
Shankali added, "Negotiations are still ongoing between the various political forces, albeit undeclared, and the Triple Alliance has what qualifies it to proceed with its project."
He pointed out, "The Sadrist movement does not want to be the only Shiite party within the majority coalition, as it aspires to include about 50 deputies from the coordinating framework to the tripartite coalition."
Shankali continues, "The Sadrists' vision is not to object to the State of Law coalition's deputies joining, provided that negotiation and dialogue with the leader of the Fatah Alliance Hadi al-Amiri, and this means no dialogue or alliance with the leader of the State of Law, Nuri al-Maliki."
He explained, "The coordinating framework, in turn, only wants to form a government that includes all its components on the one hand, and the participation of the Sadrist bloc on the other hand, for fear of the fall of any government that is unique in forming it," adding that "the one who has no objection to forming a majority of the framework forces is Al-Maliki only."
Shankali continues, "The Sadrist movement, for its part, blocked the coordination framework's attempts to return to consensus, and declared it explicitly either to go to the opposition or to form the government with its allies."
And he added, "The political scene should not be disrupted to more than it is currently," stressing that "the Sunni and Kurdish forces do not have any objection if there is an agreement within the Shiite house on the participation of all in a government that can be called an (expanded majority)". “.
Shankali believes that "what is important for the Sunni and Kurdish forces is for a government to be formed that adheres to the constitution and assists the parliament in enacting effective legislation that serves the public interest."
He refuses to hold the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Alliance of Sovereignty responsible for splitting the Shiite ranks, continuing that “the agreement within the tripartite alliance did not happen until the night of the first parliament session after we reached a dead end of negotiations and the constitutional deadlines were about to end and a decision had to be taken in order to vote on the Parliament Presidency.
Shankali went on, "The tripartite alliance is proceeding with its project, and will start the next step by electing the President of the Republic, and then choosing the person in charge of forming the government."
For his part, Representative of the State of Law, Muhammad Chihod, stated that “the step that the political blocs are considering at the present time is to complete the process of electing the President of the Republic, so that it can then begin with regard to forming the government.”
Chihod added, "The previous round of dialogues led us to a dead end, and ended with the process of electing the parliament speaker in a way that we believe is incorrect."
He stressed, "the need to start a new round of dialogues, and all the political blocs are aware that the current blockage must be overcome."
Chihod continues, "The two most prominent parties in the dialogue that we aspire to are the coordination framework and the Sadrist bloc, by focusing on the participants first, and the coming days will witness a number of developments that will be officially announced in the media."
And he finds, "The ambition for us is for the Sadrist bloc and the coordination framework to form the most numerous parliamentary bloc, and then we move towards forming the government in an easy way."
Chihod urged, "the forces to look at the end of the constitutional deadlines and our entering into a vacuum that calls for accelerating the formation of the government in conjunction with the events that occur at the internal and regional levels, as well as global crises."
He stressed, "The importance of uniting the political houses of the components, which is what the coordination framework seeks to end the state of disagreement and division among Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds, and this will not happen without dialogues and direct discussions."
Chihod concluded, “The Sadrists’ attempts to lure fifty deputies or less to the tripartite alliance will be doomed to failure, because the coordinating framework is coherent and has a central decision either for a society to participate in the government or to be outside it, and it refuses to be divided.”
It is noteworthy that the blocs are currently working to mobilize to elect the President of the Republic in a second attempt after the first attempt failed as a result of the lack of a quorum, and with the end of the election process, a new stage comes, which is the selection of the person in charge of forming the government.
