[size=45]Today, Thursday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi congratulated the Assyrian Chaldeans on the occasion of the Akitu festival.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Kazemi said in a statement: "My sincere congratulations to our Chaldean Syriac-Assyrian brothers on the occasion of the (Akitu Festival), the Babylonian-Assyrian New Year."[/size]
[size=45]He added, “Remembering this happy occasion is an opportunity to work. In order to protect our civilizational identity with its historical depth, and to preserve the peace of Iraq and its people, and to build a prosperous future that all Iraqis enjoy.”[/size]
