Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi stressed today, Thursday, that the Akito feast is an opportunity to build a prosperous future.
Al-Kazemi said in a tweet on his account on "Twitter", "My sincere congratulations to our Chaldean Syriac-Assyrian brothers on the occasion of the (Akitu Festival), the Babylonian-Assyrian New Year."
He added, "Recalling this happy occasion is an opportunity to work in order to protect our civilizational identity with its historical depth, and an occasion to preserve the peace of Iraq and its people, and to build a prosperous future that all Iraqis enjoy."
