{Economic: Al Furat News} A segment of retirees, state employees, defense and interior employees addressed the Parliamentary Finance Committee and members of Parliament to intervene and demand the Rafidain Bank to re-work the electronic submission of the advances.
They confirmed to Al Furat News that "the mechanism followed by the Rafidain Bank regarding the promotion of transactions for granting advances manually, in a paper-based and cumbersome manner, and facing difficulty in completing them, delays in the grant process, as well as obstacles, problems, routine, corruption, and the presence of trackers with weak souls who request sums of money in exchange for accelerating the pace of the advance disbursement."
The retirees demanded "the abolition of the sponsor's requirement to grant the advance and the adoption of electronic grants, which reduces time and effort in this."
