Earth News/ The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Aziz Sharif Al-Mayahi, called today, Monday, to the government regarding the decisions of the Ministry of Oil, which caused the severing of the livelihood of thousands of families.
Al-Mayahi said in a statement, received by Earth News, that "the Ministry of Oil, unfortunately, began to flounder in its decisions, which caused a state of confusion and cut off the livelihoods of thousands of families in the central and southern governorates, but on the contrary, it deals selectively and out of control with other well-known governorates." Noting that "one of those decisions is related to stopping the fuel quotas on the suspended plants for any reason, no matter what professional."
He added, "There are hundreds of factories that have stopped for various purposes, such as waiting for raw materials to arrive or stopping for maintenance purposes. When they return to work, these factories are surprised by not releasing their shares of fuel, which makes them compelled to buy it from the black market for huge amounts or not to start work, which caused the layoffs of thousands of workers and hit the economy." Iraq and the private sector directly.
Al-Mayahi continued, “These moody measures from the Ministry of Oil and its clear war on the private sector put us in front of a humanitarian and moral position in calling on the Prime Minister to stop this chaos and urgent intervention to cancel the decisions of the Ministry of Oil that completely intersect with the terms of the white paper that included support for the private sector and the provision of job opportunities.”
