Today, Monday, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Aziz Sharif Al-Mayahi, called on the Prime Minister to urgently intervene to compel the Oil Ministry to retract its decisions that caused "the severing of thousands of families' livelihoods."

Al-Mayahi said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that:Oil MinistryUnfortunately, it began to falter in its decisions, which caused confusion and cut off the livelihoods of thousands of families in the central and southern governorates, but on the contrary, it deals selectively and out of control with other well-known governorates, noting that “one of those decisions is related to stopping fuel quotas on factories. The bricks stopped for any reason, no matter what professional.

He added, "There are hundreds of brick factories that have stopped for various purposes, such as waiting for the arrival of raw materials or stopping for maintenance purposes, and when they return to work, these factories are surprised by not releasing their shares of fuel, which makes them obliged to buy it from the black market in huge amounts or not to start work, which caused the layoffs of thousands of workers. It hit the Iraqi economy and the private sector directly."

He pointed out that "these mood measures fromOil MinistryAnd its clear war on the private sector puts us in front of a humanitarian and moral position in calling on the Prime Minister to stop this chaos and to intervene urgently to cancel the decisionsOil MinistryWhich completely intersect with the terms of the white paper, which included supporting the private sector and providing job opportunities.
