    [rtl]Al-Bajari said in an interview with Al-Sumaria, "The House of Representatives is ready to interrupt its legislative recess and resume its sessions in the event that the draft general budget law is sent to Parliament for study and approval," stressing that " The budget is of great importance in the next year, especially after two years have passed without a budget.” ".


    She added, "The country needs new projects and investments, and delaying the approval of the budget will give negative results in the near future," noting that "we have no objection to interrupting our legislative recess to vote on the next budget."
    And last Sunday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee announced the completion of the final touches of the budget and its transfer to the Prime Minister's Office.
    The committee said, “The competence of the Ministry of Planning in the 2023 budget is the financial investment side, while the Ministry of Finance is responsible for operational estimates,” indicating that “the final touches of the budget were completed in the two ministries and were transferred to the Prime Minister's office for discussion and transfer to the Council of Ministers later.”
    And she added, “The budget will be handed over to the House of Representatives early next year, and its total amounts will range from 130-140 trillion dinars,” noting that “discussing the budget will take from one to two months in Parliament. ”
