Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani arrived today, Tuesday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

Al-Sudani's media office stated, in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News, that "an official reception ceremony took place this morning at Queen Alia Airport in the Jordanian capital, Amman, for Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani."

And the statement continued, "He was at the official reception of the Sudanese, Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II."

The ceremony witnessed the playing of the national anthems of Iraq and Jordan, and a parade of honor guards, according to the statement.

According to the statement, Al-Sudani heads a high-ranking government delegation to participate in the second Baghdad Summit for Cooperation and Partnership, which Jordan is hosting. During the summit, bilateral relations will be discussed with the leaders of the participating countries, cooperation and partnership mechanisms in facing the current economic, security and climatic challenges, and the achievement of integration with the countries of the region in terms of services and economic partnership, in a way that enhances the security and stability of the region.
