The Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, and the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Alireza Konay, discussed today, Wednesday, the situation of Iraqis in Turkey.

The ministry said in a statement, received by Alsumaria News, that "the Minister of Migration and Displacement met today, the Turkish ambassador to Iraq, Alireza Konay, and his accompanying delegation, at the ministry's headquarters in the center of the capital, Baghdad, to discuss joint cooperation between the two countries.”

She added, "During the meeting, the most important files concerning the Iraqi community in Turkey were discussed, including the file of asylum seekers, especially those whose asylum applications were rejected."
