The National Retirement Authority announced, on Tuesday, the start of paying the salaries of retirees for the month of January.
The Ministry of Finance announced, a short time ago, the start of financing the salaries of civilian and military retirees.
The ministry said in a statement that it "emphasized the management of the Rafidain and Rashid banks and the National Retirement Authority to expedite the completion of procedures for paying the salaries of civil and military retirees through electronic payment cards."
The ministry called, "all civil and military retirees who will receive text messages, to review bank branches and automatic exchange outlets in Baghdad and the provinces to receive their salaries."
