    {Economic: Alfranews} The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs revealed that beneficiaries of protection salaries are covered by housing loans granted to them for the purpose of solving the housing crisis in the country in coordination with the Central Bank

    The head of the Social Protection Authority, Huda Sajjad Mahmoud, said in a press interview, "The authority, in coordination with the Central Bank and through the agricultural and real estate banks, launched an initiative to grant loans to beneficiaries of social protection subsidies for the purpose of purchasing investment housing units, as 5 percent of each housing unit was allocated to protection beneficiaries. Or that the beneficiary buys a house directly,” explaining that “the loan is granted to the beneficiary with a repayment period of between 20 to 30 years.”
    She added that "the aim of these loans is to solve part of the housing crisis, in addition to providing decent housing to beneficiaries who do not have housing or who live in slum areas or sanitary landfills, or widowed and divorced women who do not have housing and who live with their families because they do not have housing." She indicated that "the authority, in coordination with the Information Technology Office in the Ministry of Labor and international organizations, will launch a campaign to count the numbers of these families."

     The Retirement Authority issues an urgent notice regarding the salaries of retirees


    On Monday, the Public Retirement Authority denied stopping the salaries of retirees due to an "electronic defect" in the authority.    
    The authority said in a statement received by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "social media circulated news that there was an electronic defect in the National Retirement Authority, which led to the suspension of pension payments, so it would like the authority to show that this news is not true."  
    She added, "Pension salaries will be raised as soon as financial funding is received from the Ministry of Finance, so it is necessary to note."

    The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs revealed the inclusion of beneficiaries of
     protection salaries with housing loans granted to them for the purpose of solving the housing crisis in the country in coordination with the Central Bank.
    The head of the Social Protection Authority, Huda Sajjad Mahmoud, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah" newspaper, followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the authority, in coordination with the Central Bank and through the agricultural and real estate banks, launched an initiative to grant loans to beneficiaries of social protection subsidies for the purpose of purchasing investment housing units. 5% of each housing unit for protection beneficiaries, or for the beneficiary to purchase a house directly,” explaining that “the loan is granted to the beneficiary with a repayment period of between 20 to 30 years.”
