Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Peshmerga in the Kurdistan Regional Government welcomed, on Tuesday, the confirmation of the International Coalition to Combat Terrorism and the US Consulate General in Erbil, to continue cooperation and coordination with it, and to continue providing it with aid.
A statement by the ministry, received by Shafaq News agency, stated that it welcomes the statement of the International Coalition in Kurdistan Region and the US Consulate General in Erbil in cooperation and coordination between it and the Ministry of Peshmerga, appreciating their insistence on implementing the points of the memorandum of understanding between the United States of America and the region, especially in the field of reform.
The statement also expressed the ministry's thanks to the presidency and government of the region, who support the process.
The statement added that the ministry is constantly working on the reform process and implementing the points of the joint memorandum of understanding.
