, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, confirmed that the 2023 budget will be explosive, and the reduction of the dollar exchange has increased its deficit.
In an interview followed by Mawazine News, Cougar said, "The 2023 budget will be explosive, and the dollar exchange rate cut has increased its deficit."
He added, "The government's measures to reduce the dollar are excellent; but the crisis is complex and does not end with this step," noting that "after reducing the exchange, the budget will decrease to about 15 trillion dinars."
He pointed out, "The gap is large between what the central bank sells and what the local market needs for import." Ended 29 / H
