    On Wednesday, the Federal Integrity Commission revealed the implementation of a major arrest operation, which resulted in the arrest of (11) suspects in Nineveh Governorate. For deliberately causing damage to the funds of the persons entrusted to them.

    The Investigation Department stated, in its discussion of the arrest process that was carried out according to a judicial note (March 1, 2023), that “the Nineveh Investigation Directorate team was able to apprehend the accused, who are (6) employees of the Cooperative Society for Housing Personnel of Education in Tel Kaif, and an employee of the Directorate of Education.” The execution of Mosul, in addition to two lawyers and two other defendants, for having received sums from citizens and organizing bills of exchange amounting to approximately (8) billion dinars, in exchange for promoting transactions to convert the sex of their lands.  
      
    The department added, “The members of the association have collected sums of money from the citizens and members of the association in exchange for promoting a transaction to convert the land’s gender from “agricultural to residential” and other amounts as an allowance for affiliation with the association and a waiver, and organizing bills of exchange in favor of the association; to collect the installments owed by the citizens; despite the issuance of a judicial decision.” By not collecting any amounts from the citizens in the form of installments, and a sum of money representing the association’s revenues was seized.  
      
    And she continued, "The employee in the Directorate of Execution of Mosul was arrested after it was proven that he had taken the citizens' fingerprints on bills of exchange proving their indebtedness to the association, and his approval of the execution minutes with the approval of the director of the Mosul Implementation Department, in exchange for incentives of 2% of the amounts proven in the bills, pointing to the arrest of two lawyers; for their role." as witnesses on the bill of exchange document without an official capacity and an agency from the association, while the other accused were arrested for organizing the transactions.  
      
    And she indicated that “a large number of bills of exchange were seized, the total amount of which amounted to (7,731,100,000) billion dinars, and minutes of opening empty executive files at the association’s headquarters, noting that a record of seizure was organized and presented to the judge of the Nineveh Investigation Court specialized in cases of integrity, who decided to arrest them according to the provisions of the law.
