On Monday evening, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received a phone call from the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Prime Minister's office said in a statement received by (Baghdad Today), that "the call witnessed an exchange of congratulations on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, and supplication to God Almighty to return it to the two countries and the Arab and Islamic nation with abundance of goodness and prosperity."
Al-Sudani and bin Salman discussed, according to the statement, "the bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to develop them, and a number of regional and international issues of common concern."
The two sides stressed "the continuation of mutual cooperation, in various fields and economic and investment sectors, within the framework of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, in a way that contributes to raising the level of relations, and achieving the interests of the peoples of the two countries and their aspirations for more stability and development."
