[rtl]Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, affirmed that the parliament will proceed with its tasks and responsibilities towards the draft budget law.[/rtl]
[rtl]And his media office stated, in a statement, that "Abdullah received, at his residence in Baghdad, the head of the Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, and his accompanying delegation."[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement added, “The meeting, which was attended by a number of deputies, witnessed a discussion of the overall developments in the political and security situation in the Iraqi arena, in addition to discussing a number of topics and issues of common concern, including the oil agreement between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, and the positive atmosphere between the two sides at the level of dialogues and understandings. .[/rtl]
[rtl]Abdullah said, "The House of Representatives will proceed with its tasks and responsibilities towards the draft federal budget law for the fiscal years 2023, 2024, and 2025 in accordance with legislative and legal procedures."[/rtl]
[rtl]He stressed, "The Council's keenness to approve the budget because it relates to the lives of citizens, addressing economic problems, implementing service projects and developing the provinces in a way that enhances stability in the country."[/rtl]
