    Iraq inaugurates the Baghdad-London flight route after 23 years

    The Iraqi Transport Ministry announced Tuesday the opening of a Baghdad-London flight, the first flight to British Territories

    Iraqi
    Airways suspended flights to several European cities, after Kuwait
    raised legal action for damage caused to aircraft by the Iraqi invasion
    in 1990.

    He said media adviser to Transport Minister Karim
    Al-Nuri, "Baghdad International Airport inaugurated airline connecting
    Iraq with England directly through a Baghdad-London", indicating that
    this line will enhance trade and tourism between the two countries.

    Al-Nouri
    said that "the opening of this line will reduce the suffering of
    travelers and patients seeking treatment in London after passengers were
    left there by Jordan and Turkey and the UAE."

    The first plane would be less on board, Transport Minister Hadi Ameri, and some government officials.

    And progress of Iraq late last month, the first flight to Kuwait by Iraqi Airways after a break of 23 years.

    And
    the easing of the crisis between Baghdad and Kuwait, as well as the
    lifting of the ban on Iraqi Aviation Organization us, Iraqi Airways to
    reinstate the new airline recently.
