    Today, Saturday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, stressed the importance of concerted efforts to proceed with the fourth license project in the service of mobile phone networks.
    The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani chaired a meeting that included the chairman and the board of commissioners of the Media and Communications Commission," pointing out that "the meeting dealt with the issue of the fourth license in the service of mobile phone networks, which will contribute to the development of the telecommunications sector and the level of services provided to citizens.
    He pointed to "the importance of the concerted efforts of the Media and Communications Authority and the Ministry of Communications, which recently contracted with a consulting body, to proceed with the fourth license project, through the National Telecommunications Company, in implementation of what was stated in the ministerial curriculum," stressing during the meeting the "need to follow up on the work of mobile phone companies, and pay them The dues owed, according to the law, to the state treasury, in addition to the importance of monitoring the service it provides and its compatibility with service standards defined by law.
    The Prime Minister directed
    He stressed "the importance of the media sector and its impact, and the need for the authority to take its role in re-evaluating and upgrading this vital sector," stressing "the need for integration of work between the executive body of the authority and its board of commissioners, away from any administrative intersections."
    Al-Sudani explained, during the meeting, that "issues related to public money or state resources should not be subject to political pressures or influences," pointing to "the importance of improving the telecommunications sector because of its economic benefits and important returns for the state and the citizen, by maximizing resources and increasing job opportunities." ".
    The Prime Minister renewed "the government's support for media freedom and guaranteeing it for all media institutions, and at the same time, media work must be regulated and controlled in accordance with the law and the constitution," directing the Media and Communications Authority to "
