I decided Presidency of the Council of Representatives of Iraq, on Saturday, postponing the session of the 17th legislative term of the first legislative year, the first parliamentary session of the third half-hour, for lack of a quorum for the session.
A parliamentary source said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The House of Representatives Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, decided to postpone the session of the 17th legislative term of the first legislative year, the first of the third parliamentary session scheduled for today, half an hour," attributing the cause to "a lack of quorum of the session. "
The source, who requested anonymity, that "the agenda of the meeting includes sworn deputies who hold government positions and replacements for those who have held ministerial positions or the House of Representatives for the President of the Republic, and host Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq on to discuss the measures taken regarding the displaced."
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi parliament lifted, on the first Thursday, (September 18, 2014), Session 16 of the first legislative term of the legislative year, the first of its third parliamentary session to Saturday, while the session witnessed postpone the candidates of the security ministries until the agreement of the political blocs on them, and vote to form a committee to make final recommendations for the development of the work of Parliament, and the designation of one of the members of the Presidency of the Parliament president of the Legal Committee.
