    The Minister of Transport, Razak Mahbis, confirmed today, Saturday, that the economic feasibility of the development road project has been completed, while the project will achieve significant economic "gains".

    "The development path is a project that is in the interest of the countries of the region," Mohabis said, adding, "We have finished the economic feasibility of the development path project."

    He added, "We are determined to end it because it constitutes a qualitative transition for transportation," pointing out that "the road will achieve great economic gains."



    The Minister of Transport confirmed that "the road to development needs a large economic bloc," noting that "the government intends to operate the first phase of the Al-Faw project in mid-2025."

    Mohebis stated, "The completion rates achieved in the port of Faw amounted to more than 50 percent," considering that the development path "will constitute the development path for the region and the world."

    A spokesman for the Ministry of Transport, Shatha Radhi, had confirmed that the infrastructure of the Development Road project would be sovereign.

    Rady said, "This vital, strategic and promising project will link the East with the West, and link Iraq's ports with Turkish ports, as well as to European countries and from there to the Caucasus countries."

    She added, "This project will consist of two double lines, a railway line and an international express line, and on the two lines there will be an economic movement that will revive the economy of the governorates it passes through, which are almost more than 10 governorates, in addition to industrial and residential cities and recreational areas," noting that "the project will provide opportunities He worked for more than 100,000 job opportunities for Iraqi youth, and this number may increase during the completion of this road in full.

    Today, the capital, Baghdad, will host the Development Path Conference, which will be held in the presence of representatives from 10 countries.
