[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, announced the reduction of work permit fees for foreign workers to 250,000 dinars.
The ministry said in a statement: "Al-Asadi received the Pakistani Minister of Expatriates and Human Resources Development, Ahmed Amjad Ali, and discussed with him cooperation between the two countries in the economic and social fields."
During the meeting, Al-Asadi expressed Iraq's desire to develop bilateral relations, exchange experiences and information in the field of technology, work environment, social security, occupational health and safety, and vocational training, through the preparation of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries, explaining the tasks of the ministry and the most important laws in which it operates. And an introduction to the electronic (professionals) platform, which was established to facilitate the link between professionals and employers.
Al-Asadi stressed, "the importance of regulating Pakistani labor, pointing to the presence of hundreds of thousands of illegal workers who enter the form of tourism or religious visits," noting that "the ministry has provided many facilities, which would correct the Legal course of illegal labor, including reducing fees for the work permit for foreign workers is up to 250,000 dinars, and the possibility of bringing a sponsor for the worker who does not work in a specific place.It has to stop illegal Pakistani labor,
