A member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Jawad al-Bolani, explained, on Monday, the reasons for the delay in disbursing the salaries of students studying at the expense of the Ministry of Defense, attributing this to the lack of implementation of the budget provisions.

In an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, Al-Bolani said, "His committee is following closely with the Minister of Defense and the Army Chief of Staff the disbursement of salaries and allowances for students studying at the expense of the Ministry of Defense."
He added, "The failure to implement the budget items prevented the release of alimony salaries, and indicated that the crisis was discussed with the Army Chief of Staff, and we were notified of a solution to this problem."
The capital, Baghdad, witnessed demonstrations by students of the medical group studying at the expense of the Ministry of Defense, to demand the payment of their financial dues, which have been suspended for months. End / 25 h
