The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, announced his support for the inclusion in school curricula of the crimes of the Baath Party and the corruption of its ideas. Al-Maliki said in a tweet on the (X) website that "one of the tasks of accountability and justice is to pursue the ideas and organizations of the Baath Party, in addition to preventing any infiltration of it into the state with a Baathist mentality .”[/rtl]
[rtl] He added, "We support what the Minister of Higher Education put forward. We even demanded that school curricula at all stages include an explanation of the crimes of the Ba'ath Party and its corruption, and that it be pursued as Europe pursued Nazi ideas .”[/rtl]
