    Today, Monday, the Investigation Department of the Federal Integrity Commission reported the implementation of four seizures of cases of waste of public money, embezzlement and fraud in a number of departments in Wasit.

    A statement of the department received by Alsumaria News stated that the work team of the Commission’s investigation office in Wasit, which moved to the Wasit Electricity Distribution Branch - Sales Department, was able, after conducting investigation and auditing work, to reveal the existence of debts of more than (32) billion dinars owed by the two commercial sectors. the industrialist; indicating that the necessary legal measures were not taken to collect it; Pointing out that the debts owed by the industrial sector amounted to (17,958,653,000) billion dinars, while the total debts owed by the commercial sector amounted to (14,593,940,000) billion dinars.



    She added, "The field team specialized in the services and education sector in the office, which moved to the Water Directorate in the governorate, revealed forgery, embezzlement, and manipulation of the receipts that are delivered to citizens, where the correct amount is written in the receipt that is delivered to the citizen, and a lesser amount is written in the carbonated copies." For the same receipt, which led to wasting an amount of (5) million dinars, in addition to tampering with the consignments for collecting the amount by adding amounts to the consignments after being audited by the Audit Division in the Wasit Water Directorate, in order to conceal the embezzlement and manipulation, and an arrest warrant was executed against the employee responsible for Manipulation in accordance with the provisions of Article (315) of the Penal Code.

    The department stated, "After the procedures of research, investigation and investigation in the College of Basic Education of the Essaouira district, a transaction of disbursing monthly allowances totaling more than seven million dinars was seized, which was disbursed in violation of the controls and instructions of an agricultural engineer working in the college."
