    Iraq's imports of industrial and commercial goods from Jordan amounted to a total of 966 million Jordanian dinars, which represents about $1.4 billion during the year 2022.
     
    715 million dinars for industrial materials
    The Amman-Jordanian Chamber of Industry stated in its report that “the chamber’s exports to countries of the world during the past year 2022 amounted to 7.577 billion dinars, compared to 5.296 billion dinars in 2021.”
    She added that "the exports of Jordanian industry products, which are spread in most regions of the Kingdom, reach more than 148 markets around the world due to the export of 1,400 various commodities."
    And she indicated that “India, the United States of America, Saudi Arabia and Iraq acquired more than half of the Oman Chamber of Industry’s exports during the past year, recording a value of 3.936 billion dinars,” noting that “Oman industry exports to Iraq rose during the year 2022 to 715 million dinars, compared to 559 million dinars.” dinars for the same period of the year 2021, with an increase of 28 percent.
    And she explained that “the Chamber’s exports during the past year 2022 were distributed to the sectors of mining, chemical, cosmetics, engineering, electrical, and information technology industries, in addition to the exports of the sectors of the catering, food, agricultural, livestock, therapeutic, medical and leather supplies, and other industries.”
     
     
    251 million dinars of commercial goods
    On the other hand, the Amman Chamber of Commerce announced that “during the past year 2022, goods and commodities were exported to Arab and foreign countries, amounting to about 885 million dinars, compared to 740 million dinars for the same period last year.”
    And she added, “Iraq came first with the largest Arab countries importing from Jordan in terms of the value of imported goods in 2022, which amounted to 251 million dinars, followed by Egypt with 109 million dinars, Saudi Arabia third with 104 million dinars, and the UAE fourth with 94 million dinars, then Kuwait fifth with a value of 36 million dinars.
    And he pointed out that “the value of foreign products exports (re-exports) amounted to about 406 million dinars, industrial 210 million dinars, agricultural 159 million dinars, then Arab products worth 71 million dinars, and the rest is for many other different products.”
    And she indicated that "the Amman Chamber of Commerce issues certificates of origin for Jordanian agricultural and animal products and raw natural resources, and for foreign goods that are being re-exported and for foreign goods purchased from the local market under specific conditions."
