    The Central Bank of Iraq warned today, Thursday, October 26, 2023, against dealing with “unlicensed” entities that issue electronic payment cards.

    The bank stated in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News that, “Based on its role in regulating the use of electronic payment tools in accordance with standard standards and approved practices, and with the aim of protecting the public from fraudulent operations, it has recently been observed that some unlicensed parties are issuing and promoting electronic payment cards.”
