Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Finance announced the release of retirees’ salaries with an increase for the month of November.
A statement from the ministry received by Mawazine News stated, “In continuation of the Prime Minister’s initiative to support the segment of retirees, and in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 23599 of 2023, and pursuant to the directives of the Minister of Finance, Taif Sam, the Ministry of Finance/Accounting Department began launching funding for civil and military retirees’ salaries for the month of November.” With the implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decision to calculate an increase of 100,000 dinars in the pension salaries of those who receive a pension with allocations of less than one million dinars.
According to the statement, the Ministry stressed, “The management of Al-Rafidain and Al-Rashid Banks and the National Retirement Authority must expedite the completion of procedures for paying the salaries of civil and military retirees via electronic payment cards.”
According to the statement, the Ministry called on “all civil and military retirees who will receive text messages to visit bank branches and automated teller machine outlets in Baghdad and the provinces to receive their salaries.”
