The head of the National Investment Authority, Haider Makiya, directed today, Thursday, to stop the work of the electronic water measuring meters of the Baghdad Water Department for residential units in Bismaya and to approve the meters implemented by the Korean Hanwha Company.
Makiya said in statements to the official newspaper, “The authority is keen to maintain the infrastructure implemented by Hanwa Company, prevent waste of public money, and provide the best services that suit the reality and capabilities of the citizens living in the complex.”
He added: “Therefore, we directed the suspension of work on the electronic water metering meters of the Baghdad Water Department for residential units in Bismaya and the adoption of the meters implemented by the Korean Hanwha Company.”
