{Local: Al-Furat News} The head of the National Investment Authority, Haider Muhammad Makiya, directed the Internet company (IQ) to set a short timetable to improve the service in the Bismaya residential complex, with the competent committees of the authority following up on the company’s work procedures within the specified schedule.
The head of the authority said, in a statement received by {Al-Furat News} during his chairing a meeting that included the engineering and technical team of the (IQ) Internet company working in the Bismayah complex project, and a delegation from the Ministry of Communications, that “the National Authority monitors the nature of the level of service provided to citizens on the Internet level through technical reports.” raised by the committees formed in this regard, stressing the responsibility of the company (IQ) in improving the reality of the service and providing it to citizens in the Bismayah complex.”
He added, "The Authority is following up on the recent measures taken by the company in the context of improving Internet speed in the complex, by launching experimental packages with speeds different from previous indicators."
He continued, "The Bismaya Residential Complex project will witness a new launch in the near term at the level of services and construction of the remaining residential units estimated at (70) thousand units, through the results of the negotiations that took place in the previous period with the South Korean Hanwha Company and the management of the Rafidain Bank."
