    The representative of the Al-Fatah Alliance, Ali Turki, confirmed on Tuesday that Parliament stands with the government in rejecting any foreign combat presence on Iraqi soil, pointing out that the strategic framework agreement has turned Iraq into a land for American bases.
    Turki told Al-Maalouma, “The government is unwilling to have a foreign combat presence on Iraqi soil, and this matter has been announced and confirmed more than once, and Parliament will have its supportive position on such a matter.”
    He added, "Parliament will be a helpful factor for the government in rejecting the foreign combat presence on Iraqi soil by moving towards canceling the strategic framework agreement with the occupier, as this agreement made Iraq a land for American bases."
    He stated that "American forces are present in Iraq under false excuses and pretexts at a time when the country does not need any American or foreign combat forces in order to confront terrorism and security risks." Ended 25 n
