The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, received today, Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in Erbil, the Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Iraq, David Berger.[/size]
[size=45]During the meeting, the relations of the United States of America with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad and the dialogue to resolve them, the role and status of Iraq in the region and at the international level, and the targeting of international coalition forces in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region were discussed.[/size]
[size=45]The two sides exchanged views on the security situation in Iraq and the region and the role of the international coalition forces, and stressed the importance of protecting security and stability in Iraq and the region.
