[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs confirmed the Ministry’s keenness to accelerate the implementation of gas investment projects, stop burning it, and work to transform it into useful energy to supply electrical power stations and all industries related to it.
Izzat Saber said in a statement: The gas investment sector is witnessing growth and an increase in the quantities of associated gas investment, as the amount of gas invested has reached more than (1916) cubic meters per day, which constitutes more than (61%) of the amount of gas produced, which amounts to (3120). (Mqmq/day (million standard cubic feet per day).
He pointed out that “electric power generation stations, industrial facilities, and others will be equipped with dry gas in a quantity of (1450) Mqmq per day, while the amount of national production of liquid gas reached (6675) tons per day.”
