Today, Thursday, a member of the Parliamentary Energy Committee, Ola Al-Nashi, called on the Ministry of Electricity to meet the electrical energy needs of Dhi Qar Governorate.
Al-Nashi told Al-Ma’louma that she “obtained official approvals from the Minister of Electricity and the General Electric Power Transmission Company in the Southern Region to fill the governorate’s shortage of electrical energy.”
Al-Nashi pointed out that “the southern governorates need special attention from the central government, especially with regard to providing electricity, as they are disaster-stricken governorates.”
Dhi Qar Governorate suffers from many crises, lack of services, and a poor standard of living, despite granting it huge financial budgets during the past two years and forming its own reconstruction fund. Ended / 25 Q.
