    Information / Baghdad..
Today, Wednesday, the Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee called on the Ministry of Finance and the Media and Communications Authority to expedite the recovery of the debts owed by Korek Communications Company.
Committee member Aqeel Al-Fatlawi told Al-Maalomah, “The committee discussed with the concerned authorities the collection of Korek Communications Company’s debts, which exceed one billion dollars, and he stated that delaying the receipt of debts negatively affects the reality of the Iraqi economy.”
He added, "The continued failure of Korek to pay what it owes affects, in one way or another, 7,000 employees as well as more than 8 million subscribers. He pointed out that Korek must pay what it owes as debts to the Ministry of Finance, which are estimated at about one billion dollars." Ended / 25 h
