The representative for Dhi Qar Governorate, Ola Al-Nashi, today, Thursday, called on the Ministry of Finance to do justice to the governorate during the general budget for the current year 2024.
Al-Nashi told Mawazine News, “The Ministry of Finance is obligated to support Dhi Qar Governorate by increasing its allocations.” Within the current year’s budget, she called on the minister to “explain the reasons for the delay in sending the general budget schedules to the House of Representatives despite the passage of time after its specified time.”
She stressed the need to “take into account the central and southern governorates through financial allocations to projects, especially service ones, to improve their deteriorating situation.”
