    Today, Monday, Member of Parliament Thaer Al-Jubouri suggested that Turkey will continue to procrastinate and procrastinate in the issue of launching Iraq’s water quotas, while he stressed that one of the reasons for Erdogan’s visit to Iraq is to try to save Ankara’s collapsed economy.

    Al-Jubouri said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “Erdogan’s visit and failure to produce direct results sent a negative message to the Iraqi people,” noting that “failing to conclude a treaty to officially determine Iraq’s water shares will waste the country’s right in the future.” 
    He continued, "The way in which the Turkish president was received was exaggerated and did not convey the complaint and suffering of the Iraqi people that Turkey causes in many files," pointing out that "the lack of a strategic understanding with Baghdad postpones resolving the water file with Ankara again." 
    Regarding the continuation of the policy of procrastination and procrastination, a member of the Agriculture, Water and Marshlands Committee confirms: “Turkey will continue to procrastinate and procrastinate in the issue of launching Iraq’s water quotas for many reasons that exist on the ground.”
