Today, Saturday, member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Muhammad Nouri, called on the regional government and the federal government to commit to implementing the Federal Court’s decision to localize the salaries of regional employees.
Nouri told Al-Maalouma, “The regional government did not commit to implementing the Federal Court’s decision to localize the salaries of its employees, indicating that the supervisory authorities in the federal government are continuing their visits to the region.”
He continued, "The delay in paying the salaries of the region's employees is due to the region's government's failure to commit to localizing the salaries of its employees despite the federal government's fulfillment of 920 billion dinars to the people of the region for the month of last April."
