Al-Hakim said during the Eid prayer sermon, “In light of the developments taking place in our local arena and our Arab and Islamic region, we would like to point out several matters, including the political field, as the call continues for the necessity of resolving the position of Presidency of the House of Representatives and for this important position not to remain vacant as a result of political differences between... He pointed out that "the awareness and political experience that we have reached today necessitates us not to return to the squares of artificial disagreement and rivalry for immediate and temporary political purposes," calling for "demanding demonstrations and political objections to be conducted in a peaceful manner and in accordance with the constitutional and legal contexts, and to avoid popular incitement and mass incitement in our safe cities."
