Today, Monday, Ali Al-Atwani, the official spokesman for the Aqtidar Watan Party, called on the government not to receive Tracy Jacobson’s credentials as US ambassador to Iraq.
Al-Adwani told Al-Maaloma Agency, "Jacobson's statements interfered in Iraq's affairs and violated all diplomatic norms, noting that she used the language of guardianship over Iraq."
He believed, "Her statements are completely outside the limits of her duties as ambassador, indicating that she does not have the right to assess the security situation in Iraq, as dealing with terrorism is Iraq's business."
He explained, "Her statement in which she disobeyed the Popular Mobilization Forces is completely rejected, calling on the government to confront its statements with a decisive response." Ended/25H
