    Information / Baghdad..
Today, Wednesday, the spokesman for the legal movement, Muhammad Al-Sahaf, described the extension of an oil pipeline from Basra to Aqaba as an economic crime against the Iraqi people.
Al-Sahaf told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The project serves Jordanian interests economically and there is no benefit from this pipeline."
He added that "the Basra-Aqaba project has no economic or financial benefits for Iraq at all, but rather it has great harms and dangers," noting that "the project faces great parliamentary rejection in light of economic concerns."
He added, "The project has huge discounts for Jordan, and we do not know whether Iraqi oil goes to the Zionist entity or not." End / 25 H
